Advertising Disclosure
Hero Academics is free. When ads are enabled, they are displayed through clearly-labelled, fixed banner slots — never as fake content, fake messages, fake alerts, fake downloads or fake navigation.
Where ads may appear
- One leaderboard slot below the introduction on the course landing page.
- One rectangle on chapter overview pages, outside the reading column.
Never inside lessons, quizzes, answer reveals, interactive labs, or beside download/next controls.
Categories we refuse
Dating/chat-bait and sexualised creatives, gambling, alcohol/tobacco/drugs/weapons, scams and fake investment offers, fake virus/system alerts, malicious downloads, pop-unders, push-ad subscriptions, forced redirects and full-screen interstitials are forbidden. Ads are labelled "Advertisement" and visually separated from course content.
Privacy
Placements are contextual and non-personalised. Learners are not profiled, retargeted, or tracked across sites for advertising. We never ask you to click ads.
Switch ads off
Set localStorage.ha_ads_off = "1" in your browser console (or add a blocking extension) and all ad slots disappear with no layout damage. The course remains fully functional with every ad blocked.
Sponsorships & affiliates
Sponsored placements, if any, are manually approved and labelled "Sponsored". Affiliate links, if any, are disclosed next to the link and never influence what we teach. No affiliate or sponsorship relationship exists today unless stated here.
